New York- Two Deutsche Welle (DW) formats were awarded gold by Promaxbda, the leading global association for marketing and design professionals in the media industry. DW News won the Set Design category and the Spanish-language talk show Aquí estoy! received an award for Best News Bumper.  

DW News, the core of Germany’s international broadcaster, has become even more modern and interactive over the past year. Deutsche Welle was nominated three times in the Best News Bumper category. The winner, “¡Aquí estoy!” hosted by Pía Castro, features interviews with Spanish-speaking personalities who contribute to European-Latin American relations through their work.
