London / Leicester- Zig Zag Productions announced an agreement with Leicester City and Jamie Vardy’s V9 Academy to produce a TV documentary series. Jamie Vardy’s Having an Academy (3 x 60’) will follow the hottest name in English football as he seeks to discover non league talent and promote them to the professional game whilst providing them with a unique educational experience into what it takes to play at the sport’s top level.

The V9 Academy will hold its first intake of players in May 2017 at Manchester City FC’s training complex. The academy will host 42 successful applicants who will be split into 3 teams of 14 players for a 5-day residential programme.
