Hong Kong– The new professional eSports league, organised by Turner and WME | IMG, will air in Asia on truTV and Warner TV. Entitled ELEAGUE, the inaugural first season pitting 24 international teams against each other, launches today (May 24), with live event coverage on digital platform Twitch throughout the week, and round-robin finals airing on truTV every weekend.
The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams compete over a 10-week period from a state-of-the-art arena at Turner Studios in Atlanta in the U.S.. The global championship will then be held on Saturday, July 30, offering a prize pool of US$1.2 million, and shown as-live on both truTV and Warner TV.
