MIPTV, Cannes, France– Mattel Creations has confirmed a distinctly international line-up of new characters in a trailer launched at MIPTV for its forthcoming new CG-animated Thomas & Friends: The Great Race movie, for television, theatrical and DVD release this summer.

After much media speculation and hype around the new global characters to be included in the new movie, it has been officially revealed that The Great Race will include a line-up consisting of 13 new engines from around the world, as shown in the trailer and the accompanying artwork taken from the upcoming film.
