According to SPORTEL CEO Laurent Puons, this year’s edition of SPORTELAsia was a massive success. A total of 736 registered attendees, representing 371 companies of which, 47 countries came together to do business in and with Asia.
SPORTELAsia 2016 had a 22% increase in new companies compared to the last Asian convention. Furthermore, about 40% of the attendees were C-level decision makers who came to do business.
Puons said, “The industry is changing and so has SPORTEL. It is not a sole rights market anymore, it is evolving into an all-round sports marketing and media convention that provides a wide variety of business opportunities and connections for the industry.”
