ARTE Distribution seals a new live music deal with Sky UK for Jean-Michel Jarre in Sevilla

July 28, 2026 by TVA Editor

ARTE Distribution sealed a new deal with Sky UK, who acquired a new live music collection title. Sky UK is the leading entertainment and connectivity company specializing in the broadcasting of art and news programs among other things. It operates in the UK, Ireland and Italy. The two companies signed several sales agreements including FreeTV, Pay TV, SVOD, AVOD and FVOD.

The visionary pioneer of electronic music turns his attention to a new architectural jewel: the majestic Plaza de España. Thought as an ongoing dialogue between immersive music and visual technology, the concert Live in Sevilla revisits his iconic works, from Oxygène to Equinoxe, from Zoolookologie to Les Chants Magnétiques, from Robots Don’t Cry to Stardust, while also offering audiences a preview of more recent pieces such as Oxymore, Epica, and Brutalism, the artist takes the audience on a timeless, spatialized musical journey.

Recorded during his 2025 European tour, the performance features a stage design and visual creations developed by the artist with the help of AI, weaving together electronic music, video, and striking architectures of laser light and illumination. Joséphine Létang, Head of Sales at ARTE Distribution, says, “We are proud to have made this deal on such a visually impactful live performance! This concert recording is very contemporary and innovative. It also brings the AI topic back on the table with a design partly made with the help of AI tools.”

With JEAN-MICHEL JARRE IN SEVILLA (90’) directed by David Montagne and co-produced by KM Production and ARTE France, the international program sales unit asserts its position in the distribution of concert recordings in a live music collection already full of musical surprises. Prior to this sale, ARTE Distribution had already demonstrated strong commercial momentum in this new segment, having made multiple sales deals on titles including NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS AT ACCOR ARENA, PARIS (90’), AIR PLAY MOON SAFARI AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL, LONDON (90’) and CARIBOU, PARIS ZÉNITH (84’) just to name a few. The classical music catalog also met great success, with titles such as CONCERT FOR NOTRE-DAME (43’ & 75’) and MOZART’S REQUIEM AT THE CHATEAU DE VERSAILLES (83’)
