Kuala Lumpur– Ideate Media has teamed up with AMC Studios, IDW Entertainment and Circle of Confusion to produce eight one-hour episodes of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, a new original scripted series for BBC America.

Looking to not only share Dirk Gently with television fans around the world, Ideate Media and its partners plan to bring the property to other platforms. Last May, Dirk Gently appeared in his first-ever comic-book series, jointly published with IDW Entertainment.  Next, Dirk will return to comics this February with Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency: A Spoon Too Short written by Ideate’s Arvind Ethan David and co-edited by Ideate’s Chi-Ren Choong, along with executive producer Max Landis and artist Ilias Kyriaz.
