Channel description:

Astro Ria (channel 104) offers a variety of local programmes ranging from fun game shows, entertainment news, cooking to travelogues, with endless celebrity line-ups. Astro Ria’s hip and sassy look aims at attracting predominantly urban Malays who loves to keep up with latest trends and pop culture.

Astro Oasis (channel 106) is a progressive lifestyle channel for Muslims; offering educational, entertainment and documentary styled programmes on Muslim was of life. The channel features the best mix of reality, drama, talk show and documentary on daily basis.

Astro Warna (channel 132) is the home of comedy on Astro platform. Scheduling policy:

Astro Ria presents programmes premieres during weekday prime time, with each day highlighting specific genres like travel, entertainment and celebrity, games and cooking. The channel airs reality shows live on weekends, that is perfect for family viewing.

Astro Oasis key programming focuses on the 7pm slot on weekdays. Reality show and talk shows premieres on Wednesdays and Thursday nights.

Vasantham: Vasantham airs from 3pm onwards, flowing into local programming. Tamil News is stripped daily at 8.30pm followed by local info-ed, variety and current affairs genres at 9pm. Back to back drama time belt anchors golden prime time from 10pm onwards. Tamil and regional movies fill up most of the weekends.

Suria: The channel airs ad supported general entertainment from 3pm– 12am on weekdays and Saturdays, as well as 10–12am on Sundays.

Channel 8: Channel 8 is a 24-hour channel that provides a targeted programming strategy. For example, variety programmes air at 8pm, dramas at 9pm and news at 10pm, with blockbuster programmes being planned for mid-year and year-end.

Channel 8: The Crescendo drama and concert brings viewers not only the story on drama, but also allows them to participate in the concert that will be a part of the finale episode. Body SOS, a long-running programme on the channel is also being extended into a radio talkshow, online clinic and on-ground events where viewers get to participate and have their needs met.

Channel U: The channel underwent a revamp with a new tagline, Live It Up!, where its schedule was streamlined to better cater to its audience. The acquired drama belts on weekdays 7pm is extended to two hours, with original infotainment programmes being consolidated on the weekends at 9pm. On weekdays at 10pm and on weekends, landmark acquired dramas are curated.
