Cannes, France– Scripps Networks Interactive and TVN have joined up for their first programming agreement since Scripps Networks acquired the leading Polish broadcaster earlier this year. TVN has secured the format rights to create a Polish version of DIY Network’s popular home improvement series Kitchen Crashers.

The Polish version of the series will be titled Polowanie na kuchniÄ™ and will feature local journalist and interior designer and renovation guru Dorota SzelÄ…gowska. Production is due to begin towards the end of the year, with the series slated to premiere on TVN Style in Spring 2016.

Additionally, TVN Group has secured the rights to air a number of other Scripps Networks original series including House Crashers and Rehab Addict on TVN Style; Backroad Gold on TVN Turbo; and Hotel Impossible on TTV. Episodes from these shows are scheduled to begin airing from Autumn 2015.

In Polowanie na kuchniÄ™, Dorota SzelÄ…gowska and her team will visit home improvement stores and seek out unsuspecting shoppers and offer their professional design services in exchange for the keys to the shoppers’ homes.

Kitchen Crashers is one of the most popular programs on Scripps Networks’ home improvement channel, DIY Network. Season eight, which premiered in spring 2015 in the U.S., was a top 10 show for the network with viewers age 25 to 54. Season nine is currently in production and is scheduled to air in early 2016.
