Global content creator, producer and distributor, Endemol Shine Group, announced that it has signed new deals for four major commissions in Russia.

WeiT Media, Endemol Shine Group’s production partner in Russia has been commissioned by CTC Channel to produce a first series of 12 primetime episodes of Masterchef Junior. The channel has also ordered a second season of global lifestyle hit,The Biggest Loser, and a new commission of family entertainment series My Dad is Better Than Yours.

Timur Weinstein, who runs WeiT Meida has also signed a deal with Rossiya to produce a local version of acclaimed Danish crime drama The Killing.

Endemol Shine Group’s partnership with WeiT Media was founded in 2009. Headed up by Timur Weinstein, WeiT Media is one of the fastest growing production companies in Russia and recent hits include a local version of comedy talent series Your Face Sounds Familiar, which launched in 2013 and is now its third season on Russia 1. The company has a long running track record with local scripted programming, most recently with Ashes.
