London– International brand and media group TRACE is celebrating extending its partnership with long term partner, Canal Digital, whereby TRACE Sport Stars, the leading sport entertainment channel, will be made available to their SMATV customer base in Denmark.

This latest carriage deal with Canal Digital marks the entrance of the TRACE Sport Stars channel in Denmark and extends its distribution on the Canal Digital pay TV offers, where the channel has been available on the basic tier of Canal Digital cable offer in Norway since 2012.

It also strengthens the TRACE partnership with Canal Digital across the Nordic region where TRACE Urban, the leading international youth channel dedicated to urban music, has been broadcast in the Family tier of the Canal Digital DTH offer since 2013.

The new carriage deal with Canal Digital’s SMATV’s service continues the recent rapid growth of the TRACE channels and brand in the Nordic region, which has seen the broadcaster sign deals in Norway, Finland and Denmark, with plans to expand into Sweden soon.
