London – NBCUniversal International, the world’s leading media and entertainment company has appointed Emily Yeomans as the Vice President, Corporate Communications, NBC Universal International.

Yeomans will relocate from New York to London to begin her new role commencing September 7, 2015. Reporting to Denise Bassett, Senior Vice President, Communications, NBCUniversal International, Yeomans will be responsible for the leadership of International corporate communications, tasked with delivering impactful, integrated media relations and internal communications strategies to support the ongoing growth of NBC Universal’s International business.
Yeomans joined NBCUniversal in 2010 as a Senior Communications Executive in the Cable Entertainment Group, with Bravo and Oxygen respectively. Most recently, she served as Vice President for Bravo and Oxygen Media, overseeing corporate communications, programme publicity, internal communications, branding, ad sales, upfront strategies, marketing initiatives, ratings and events.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Yeomans served with MTV Networks in LA for five years in a variety of different roles, where she created innovative press campaigns for original series and live national events including “Jersey Shore,” “The Hills,” “MTV Video Music Awards” and “MTV Movie Awards.”
Bassett said: “Emily is an experienced and highly respected PR executive whose proven track record in handling media and internal communications strategy for NBC Universal has been an invaluable asset to the company since she joined in 2010. We are delighted she is moving to London to take up this new role within our corporate communications team as our international business continues to evolve and expand.”
