Singapore – Scripps Networks Interactive announced that it will be increasing its distribution of Asian Food Channel (AFC) in Vietnam. The channel is now available to SCTV subscribers of the digital package on Channel 240.

Asian Food Channel viewers can look forward to a mix of local commissions and the very best of international food programming. New local commission, Family Kitchen with Sherson which will premiere in August, journeys into cooking with Malaysian celebrity cook Sherson Lian and his mother, Ann Lian. The Lians will serve up some of their most treasured family recipes and share their personal stories behind them. In addition, Cooking for Love, an original series that proves the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, will feature on the channel in September. Join Food Hero 2014 winner Sarah Benjamin and television personality and chef, Nik Michael Imran as they compete against each other to create an innovative home cooked menu for special family events.
Asian Food Channel will also showcase a broad range of programmes from around the world, including Bake with Anna Olson which teaches viewers how to make deliciously sinful desserts at home, Restaurant Redemption, a heart stopping series starring Ching He Huang as she fights to save failing restaurants from bankruptcy, and Reza Spice Prince of Vietnam, a whirlwind travelogue that delves into the wondrous cuisines of Vietnam with host Reza Mahammad.
