London − all3media International has signed an exclusive first look deal with Bryan Elsley and Harry Enfield’s UK-based independent production company Balloon Entertainment.
Formed in 2013, Balloon Entertainment is led by acclaimed writer Bryan Elsley, creator of Company Pictures’ hit drama Skins, which all3media International has sold around the world, and BAFTA award-winning comedian, actor, writer and director, Harry Enfield. The company specialises in developing programming across the comedy and drama genres, including projects from Bryan and Harry, as well as from a wide range of other writers and performers.
Balloon Entertainment also mentors and partners with emerging talent and produces content for direct online distribution.
The company’s credits so far include comedy drama series Dates, produced for the UK’s Channel 4, and satirical documentary special Harry and Paul’s History of the 2s, for BBC Two, which is distributed by all3media International and has won multiple awards, including a BAFTA nomination. Balloon Entertainment is currently shooting An Evening with Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse, which celebrates 25 years of Harry and Paul’s partnership, for the BBC.
