Cannes – UK based Woodcut Media is set to produce a one-off documentary special Prince Harry: Ten Years A Soldier, which takes an in-depth look at the Prince’s military career, and employs unique archive footage provided by ITN Source. Currently in development and scheduled for delivery in June, Prince Harry: Ten Years A Soldier, comes hot off the heels of the hugely successful doc Kate Middleton: Heir We Go Again! also produced by Woodcut Media.
Prince Harry
This year, after a decade of serving Queen and Country, Prince Harry has decided to retire from his duties in the armed forces. Prince Harry: Ten Years A Soldier (1 x 60’) profiles the brave, charitable and sometimes controversial times that accompanied Harry over the last 10 years. From serving in Afghanistan as an Apache helicopter pilot, to hitting the headlines as he played strip games in a Vegas pool. The doc provides contributions from friends and experts that knew Harry well and looks back over his career and into the future of this renowned ‘Party Prince’ who became a military man of substance. As he enters his thirties and a new phase in life, the documentary special provides a fascinating, entertaining and heart-warming insight into one of the world’s most lovable royals.
Prince Harry: Ten Years A Soldier is produced by Cheryl Gibbs (Prince George at One, Kate Middleton: Heir We Go Again!) and executive produced by Jinal Patel, Woodcut Media.
“Media the world over just can’t seem to get enough of the younger Royals! Like Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry has warmed hearts. We are very excited to bring this documentary to market and are confident it will provide riveting viewing,” said Jinal Patel, Executive Producer, Woodcut Media.
The documentary will be presented to buyers during the market by worldwide distributors TCB Media Rights.
