Cannes − Banijay-owned Nordisk Film has now acquired the rights to Armoza Formats’ prime time entertainment format I Can Do That! in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Already licensed in Finland by MTV Oy, where it has entered production with Banijay Finland, this new deal gives the spectacular show strong coverage across the Nordic countries.
In addition, I Can Do That! last week re-launched its second season on Italy’s RAI1, with the kick-off episode winning the slot, while in the U.S. the NBC adaptation is gearing up for its all-star launch this May.
I Can Do That! is Armoza’s prime time studio entertainment show that takes a group of competitive celebrities and challenges them to perform new, unique and show-stopping live acts each week to prove that there’s nothing they can’t do. It is currently in production in over 15 countries, with Italy and Brazil on their second seasons, while USA, Mexico and Finland are currently in production for their first seasons.
Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats said, “We are thrilled to see I Can Do That!growing both internationally and in the Nordics, as it continues to meet the broadcasters’ need for a fresh new prime time show. We are happy to be working with Nordisk Film in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, and to be extending the local expertise from the Finland adaptation to the neighboring countries.”
