Nat Geo embarks on World Food Tour

February 13, 2015 by TVA Editor

FOX International Channels is set to dish up an exciting new cooking and travel series called Lee Chan’s World Food Tour, for their lifestyle channel Nat Geo People across Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

Lee Chan’s World Food Tour

Bubbly host Lee Chan takes viewers on a tantalising journey through exotic locations, from the markets of Asia to the wilds of Africa and more.

Audiences will be treated to a smorgasbord of enticing local culture and cuisine.

The 13 part series was produced by Australian production company, WTFN Entertainment and licensed through their distribution arm, Fred Media.

“This marks the beginning of a long and prosperous partnership between Fred and FOX International Channels in Asia,” said Fred’s General Manager, Michael Aldrich.

Sun Young Moon, Vice President of Programming for National Geographic Channels in Hong Kong & Southeast Asia said, “We’re always on the lookout for exciting, new food, travel and lifestyle factual programs for our newest NGC brand, Nat Geo People, and Lee Chan’s World Food Tour is a great fit. Nat Geo People viewers in this region are discerning, well-travelled and know how to enjoy the best that life has to offer, so we strive to bring to them shows that mirror their own lifestyle and outlook.”

Lee Chan’s World Food Tour will premiere 9 March at 7.55pm HK/SG on Nat Geo People.
