Seoul, Korea – CJ E&M announced that 20, Once Again! (Chinese: é‡è¿”20å²) has become the ninth top-grossing romantic comedy film in China, having earned around 364 million yuan (11.5 million viewers) at the box office as of 8 February.

20, Once Again! had been on top of the chart for the first eight days of its opening on 8 January. It also secured the second place even after several Hollywood blockbusters, including Seventh Son and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, were released.
Jointly produced and invested by CJ E&M and Beijing Century Media, 20, Once Again! (é‡è¿”20å²) depicts a story of a 70-year-old widow who accidentally gets transformed into her 20-year-old self and decides to chase her dream of becoming a singer while encountering unexpected love.
“We are working to develop local versions of Miss Granny through our partnership with companies in Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand. CJ E&M plans to further carry out the One Source, Multi-Use strategy to be the most influential studio in Asia,” said , head of CJ E&M’s film division.
Meanwhile, 20, Once Again! has been well received in Hong Kong, Taiwan, New Zealand and Australia, as well as countries in North America.
