Paris-based production company Gedeon Programmes expands its team with the arrival of two line-producers, namely Virginie Guibbaud in the documentaries and docu-drama department and Marie Thiry assisted by Sarah Verdier in the New Media and Museography department.
Guibbaud has been recruited as producer of documentaries and docu-drama by Stéphane Millière, the President of Gedeon Programmes. She graduated from Sciences Po Paris and worked for 13 Productions, Mille et Une Films before joining the Films d’Ici in 2011. She took part in the creation of the Films d’Ici 2 in May 2012 as associated producer. She teaches documentary-writing at the Sorbonne (Paris 1). At Gedeon, Guibbaud is in charge of the development and production of films in the field of history. Ongoing programmes include 3×90’-minute films for Arte such as Marie Tussaud, the Reluctant Revolutionary, Chambord, the Enigmatic Castle and Rio Over the Ages.
Thiry is appointed producer of New Media in the New Media and Museography department, assisted by Sarah Verdier, in-charge of the development.
With a Master in Management of Cultural & Media Industries from ESCP Europe, Marie worked as a project manager in a web agency where she managed teams of web-designers and developers in the creation of applications and web sites for cultural companies and institutions. She joined Gedeon Programmes a year ago to take part in the development of the New Media and Museography department.
Sarah Verdier holds a Master in Management of cultural projects. She had a few work experiences in productions companies specialised in documentaries and short-films as well as at the Cinquatre and the Centre Pompidou. At Gedeon Programmes, she is in charge of the development in the New Media Department.
