New York – A+E Networks® has finalised a raft of sales agreements with broadcasters across Asia in the run-up to Asia TV Forum(ATF). The announcement was made by Glen Hansen, Vice President, International Content Sales, Asia-Pacific, A+E Networks.
“We are very pleased to announce these sales as we approach ATF. Asia is a major growth territory, and the demand for high-quality programing continues to gather momentum. We look forward to presenting our dynamic line-up of scripted series and TV events, factual franchises and TV movies during the market,” said Hansen.
In China, Dox TV Platform has acquired a package of titles, including Beyond Scared Straight, Cajun Justice, Casanova Killers, The Cold Case Files, Crime 360, Crime Investigation Asia, Crime: Crossing the Line, Deadly Wives, Evil Up Close, The First 48, The First 48: Missing Persons, Gangsters: America’s Most Evil, I Killed My BFF, Killer Profile, The Killer Speaks, Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force, Mobsters, and Panic 9-1-1.
Also in China, ICS Channel has taken Ancient Aliens, Battles BC and The Men Who Built America.
Malaysian broadcaster NTV7 has acquired Criss Angel Mindfreak, Dance Moms, and Don’t Trust Andrew Mayne.
Kompas TV in Indonesia has acquired a selection of contemporary profiles from the Biography® series.
In Japan, TV Asahi has snapped up the titles Crime & Punishment and Look Who’s Stalking.
Bloomberg in Mongolia licensed a selection of Biography historical and contemporary profiles, Mankind Decoded, The Men Who Built America, and Modern Marvels.
RTB in Brunei has picked up Big History, Modern Marvels and Your Bleeped Up Brain.
Tvwan Family in Papua New Guinea has acquired Beyond Scared Straight, Criss Angel Mindfreak, I Survived, Shark Wranglers, The Universe, Wahlburgers, and The World Wars.
