Toronto – 9 Story Media Group announced that it has secured multiple sales of the endearing preschool series Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare (52 x 11’). The series was acquired by JCC (Middle East), Minimax Chello (Central Europe) and RUV (Iceland). The preschool series from Australia’s SLR Productions along with Germany’s KIKA-Der Kinderkanal and HR-Hessischer Rundfunk of ARD as well as ABC4Kids was recently greenlit for a second season.
Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare continues to air on KI.KA and HR-Hessischer Rundfunk of ARD (Germany), Disney Junior (U.S.), ABC4Kids (Australia), Nickelodeon (UK and France), TV2 (Norway), Hop! (Israel), RTP (Portugal), Disney (Spain & Italy), Z@PP (Netherlands), TRT (Turkey), Mini Mini (Poland), VRT (Belgium), EESTI (Estonia), Canal Once (Mexico), TFO and TVO (Canada) and YLE (Finland). eOne distributes DVDs for the series in Canada and the U.S. and NBC Universal distributes DVDs globally excluding Australia and New Zealand.
The series is based on the bestselling book, series Guess How Much I Love YouTM, written by Sam McBratney, illustrated by Anita Jeram and published by Walker Books. The book, which is published in 53 languages, has sold 32 million copies globally and is currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary. The animated series relates the adventure of the Nutbrown Hares and their friends with the same endearing charm and love that has made the book a timeless story time favourite.
