Underwater Action: Chinese Models Edition
Mick Gleissner has travelled around the globe, immortalising the beauty of the underwater world through photography. Mick’s revolutionary form of underwater photography has continuously captured the attention of international acclaimed media, including National Geographic. Among those that have featured his work are Elle, Maxim, Photo, Photographie, Seastar, Duiken’s magazines, and The Daily Mail.
“Underwater fashion photography is 10 times the challenge of regular photography,” expressed underwater photographer Mick Gleissner. “For some shots, the model needed to stay underwater for more than 3 hours, so endurance and stamina are important factors for an underwater model to have.”
“Underwater Action has become a phenomenal success and has been one of the most anticipated original programming of Fashion One. With its growing demand, we are bringing the only reality competition for underwater models to Asia through its Chinese Models Edition,” Executive Producer, Ashley Jordan added. “A local production with an international appeal, giving exposure to Asia and its local models, reaffirms the commitment of the television network in promoting emerging talents from across the globe. We are looking forward into localising the show into different formats across the world.”
