Kevin Mundye
Keshet UK, part of Keshet International, has made two key senior appointments as it seeks to grow its UK production ambitions. Ashley Blaker joins the team as Head of Comedy and Kevin Mundye as Head of UK Formats & Global Consultant.
Mundye will represent and adapt Keshet’s Entertainment and Factual Entertainment formats for UK broadcasters, while Blaker will look after Keshet’s Comedy slate in the UK. They will also work alongside Keshet Media Group’s VP Content, Ran Telem and UK Creative Consultant, Dave Morley, to develop new original properties for UK television.
Ashley Blaker
Blaker has over 15 years’ experience in Comedy and was most recently at John Stanley Productions where he co-created and co-wrote the forthcoming BBC One series Pompidou. He has also co-created, co-written and produced two series of The Matt Lucas Awards as well as producing several new series for Radio 4 (Britain Versus the World, 2525 and Chat Show Roulette) over the last year. Blaker began his career at the BBC where he produced Little Britain for Radio 4 and Rock Profile for UKTV. He was formerly Head of Development at So Television and has held development roles at At It Productions, Shine and BBC Comedy.
Mundye joins from his recent post as Executive Producer at Shine Group’s internal formats division, where he was responsible for driving and managing the international roll out of global formats such as Biggest Loser, One Born Every Minute, Got to Dance, Clash of the Choirs and The Face. Mundye has also recently worked on a range of game show projects at Victory Television (SPE). His other credits include series producer of ITV1’s All Star Mr and Mrs and Tonight’s the Night on BBC1.
