Singapore – DIVA – Asia’s women’s entertainment channel teams up with CNBC – the leading business and financial news network – on Running The Show, a 30-minute special that takes a look into the lives of some of the most influential female figures today. The programme marks the return of premium perfumer and luxury fashion house Hugo Boss on DIVA, with an evolved partnership based on creative solutions, involving on-air promotions, digital drives and content creation for DIVA.
“The modern woman is a complex persona. She is the enterprising career woman, the multi-tasking mother, the digital-savvy daughter and much more,” said Christine Fellowes, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Universal Networks International. “We partnered with CNBC to showcase and celebrate women who are strong, independent and feminine – all at the same time”.
Hosted by CNBC anchor Susan Li, the special premieres September 14 at 8.55pm on DIVA, and 9pm on CNBC. Running The Show is also the first-ever collaboration between NBCUniversal International Television’s news and entertainment channels in Asia.
In Running The Show, Susan Li explores the many different facets of some of today’s most successful ladies. Featured personalities include Marchon Eyewear vice-president of design Leslie Muller, Dress for Success CEO Joi Gordon, Esquel Group chairman Marjorie Yang and Singapore entrepreneur Tjin Lee – all of whom are aspirational figures and game changers in their fields.
“Marketing to the female audience is increasingly a priority for many brands, especially Hugo Boss, which wants to break free from the confines of being perceived as an exclusively male brand,” said Celestine Tan, P&G Prestige Asia Pacific Content Lead, Mediacom. “In this regard, DIVA has been an excellent partner in driving relevance between Hugo Boss and our women audiences through creative solutions that span across regional broadcast and digital.”
