Singapore – MediaCorp celebrates Singapore’s 49th birthday with “live” telecast of National Day Parade (NDP) 2014 on August 9 across multiple platforms – Toggle, TV, radio, out-of-home and online.
Television viewers in Singapore can watch the parade on Channel 5, Channel 8, Channel U, okto, Suria, and Vasantham from 5.40pm to 8.15pm. Viewers in Asia will also be able to catch the NDP on Channel NewsAsia International (CNAI) from 5.40pm to 8.15pm Singapore / Hong Kong time.
The online community in Singapore and overseas Singaporeans around the world will be able to watch the simulcast of the parade “live” on channelnewsasia.com/nd2014 and across the four language channels, Channel 5, Channel 8, Suria and Vasantham on Toggle.
Viewers who miss the “live” broadcast of the parade may watch it on Toggle catchup and Video on Demand clips of the entire parade at channelnewsasia.com/nd2014. XinMSN will also offer catchup viewing on xinmsn.com/ndp2014 from August 10. MediaCorp radio stations will broadcast the parade over 938LIVE, Capital 95.8FM, Warna 94.2FM and Oli 96.8FM from 5.40pm to 8.15pm in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil respectively.
MediaCorp’s digital screens will also show the parade at Bugis Village, Chinatown Point, iFly (Sentosa), JCube, Junction8, Ion Orchard, Orchard Central (Indoor), The Star Vista and Westgate on indoor and outdoor screens from 5.40pm to 8.15pm.
