Tel Aviv, Israel – PBS and Discovery Channel’s award winning cooking and travel show Great Chefs of the World will lead the launch of FoodPlanet.tv, a new and exciting website, dedicated to culinary experiences. FoodPlanet.tv takes its visitors on an expedition around the world, exposing them to the vast variety of flavours and possibilities the gastronomic world has to offer.
FoodPlanet.tv has taken on the mission to broaden its visitors’ culinary horizons. To do so, the site gathers some of the best cooking shows, featuring traditional cooking alongside fine cuisine, presented by the best chefs of the world.
The shows focus on cooking in different parts of the world, based on the understanding that throughout the ages, tourism and the culinary world have gone hand in hand, as travellers from around the world are exposed to new and exciting flavours while visiting different places.
Amongst the chefs featured on the new site are Ferran Adria Acosta, head chef of “El Bulli” restaurant in Spain; Philippe Legendre, Grand Chef of the restaurant “Five” of Hotel “George V” in Paris; Alain Passard, Chef and Owner of the three Michelin star restaurant ‘L’Arpège’ in Paris, as well as celebrity chefs Keith Floyd and Emmanuel Stroobant, and many more.
