London – Endemol announced on July 29 that Digiturk Turkey has acquired Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown in a deal negotiated by Endemol Worldwide Distribution’s James Braham, Sales Director – Germany, CEE and Turkey.
The deal includes all four seasons of this travel and food show for a total of 24 x 60’.
Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown follows host Anthony Bourdain, world-renowned chef, bestselling author and multiple Emmy-winning television personality, as he travels across the globe to uncover little-known areas of the world and celebrate diverse cultures by exploring food and dining rituals. Known for his curiosity, candour, and acerbic wit, Bourdain takes viewers off the beaten path of tourist destinations, including some war-torn parts of the world, meeting with a variety of local citizens to offer a window into their lifestyles. He also occasionally communes with an internationally lauded chef on his journeys.
A Zero Point Zero Production for CNN, the series has to date sold into over 65 countries
Anthony Bourdain Parts: Unknown is airing on Digiturk channel 17 as Home TV.
