Singapore – A+E Networks Asia announced on June 3 that it will be premiering a slew of original productions for HISTORY, Lifetime and CI this August.
Kicking off with the first original Lifetime series made in Asia, Mom’s Time Out features three frazzled mothers setting off on an all-expenses paid holiday, leaving their husbands to look after the house and kids. Starring families from Singapore, Malaysia, and The Philippines, Dads struggle to take on the Mum’s role – a role they always took for granted. Dads will have one opportunity during the one-week experiment to make a “lifeline” call to their wives, while planning a coming home surprise for their wives.
Following the success of season one last year, adrenaline junkie and bike enthusiast Jaime Dempsey returns to host Ride N’ Seek season two as she explores East Malaysia and Brunei by motorcycle.
Over the course of 30 days, Dempsey will take a road trip of over a thousand kilometres, exploring “off the beaten track” locations and getting involved in local activities, from Hari Gawai celebrations to harvesting birds’ nest to helping to collect insects for research.
Both shows are currently in production. Ride N’ Seek S2 will premiere on HISTORY, StarHub TV Ch 401 while Mom’s Time Out will premiere on Lifetime, StarHub TV Ch 514.
Also in the production pipeline are Time Capsule Malaysia, My Mosque and Gas Is The New Gold that are slated to premiere on HISTORY and KL Enforcers on CI.
