Cineflix Rights, one of the UK’s independent television content distributors, has signed a deal with Foxtel Australia which sees the broadcaster acquiring more than 250 hours of crime and lifestyle content from Cineflix Productions and third-party producers in the distributor’s catalogue.
Amongst the crime series included in the deal are Murder in Paradise (season 2, 6 x 60’, Cineflix Productions), Last Seen Alive (6 x 60’, Cineflix Productions), Obsession: Dark Desires(10 x 60’, October Films), Surviving Evil (season 2, 10 x 60’, Cineflix Productions), Unusual Suspects (seasons 1, 5 and 6, 39 x 60’, LMNO Productions), and Cold Blood (seasons 2 and 3, 36 x 60’, Cineflix Productions).
Lifestyle programming included from Cineflix’s home and design catalogue are long-running successes Property Brothers (seasons 1, 2 and 4, 65 x 60’, Cineflix Productions), and Buying & Selling (seasons 1 and 2, 39 x 60’, Cineflix Productions).
The deal was negotiated by Chris Bluett, VP Sales, Asia Pacific and Benelux at Cineflix Rights and Jim Buchan, General Manager of Factual Channels at Foxtel.
