Singapore – Regional broadcaster Channel NewsAsia is presenting a special one hour panel discussion after the Singapore Parliament was reconvened on May 16. This panel discussion will broadcast on May 20.
The programme will discuss the President’s Address, take stock of some of the measures that have been implemented over the past two years, key areas addressed and how they have impacted the electorate, as well as upcoming challenges. The panellists will also look at segments of society that require more help, and address public perception issues the Government faces.
The panel comprises Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Social and Family Development, Tan Su Shan, Managing Director and Group Head of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management of DBS Bank and Nominated Member of Parliament, Gerald Giam, Non-constituency Member of Parliament, The Workers’ Party, and Zulkifli Baharudin, Managing Director of Global Business Integrators Pte Ltd and former Nominated Member of Parliament.
