Toronto, Canada – Tricon Films & Television has announced new titles being unveiled at MIPDOC, including Davis Guggenheim’s award winning documentary feature Teach, a Participant Media Presentation of a Pivot Original and a Little Room production; Architect Films’ unique collection series Extreme Collectors and Ocean Entertainment’s true crime series on unsolved murders To Catch a Killer. Tricon will also showcase series from their multi-title acquisition deal with General Purpose Pictures.

Teach (feature) HD – We all have had a teacher who’s shaped us, inspired us, even scared us, and whom we can credit with having empowered us to become who we are today. Offering a rare glimpse inside four public school classrooms, Director Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth, untitled Malala Yousafzai Project) invites us to follow the struggles and triumphs of our education system through the eyes, minds, and hearts of its most essential resource: teachers.

Extreme Collectors (14 x 30’) HD – “How much is all this stuff worth?” That’s the question every viewer will want to know in the fun and fascinating Extreme Collectors. The series follows Andrew Zegers, an antiques appraiser with over 30 years of experience, as he travels across North America on a televised treasure hunt to find the amazing collections people have amassed, such as action figures, snow globes, harmonicas, or nearly anything else you can imagine.
