Paris – Following the presentation at MIPTV of the new game show Run & Buzz (distributed by NeweN Distribution) with a simulation held on April 7 in the presence of numerous buyers, 11 countries have already confirmed their interest.
Options have already been laid down for the acquisition of the format in Turkey, Spain, the Netherlands and Flemish-speaking Belgium.
The U.S., Italy, Russia, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Greece are currently in talks.
Run & Buzz is a daily family game show (running-time 26 or 40 minutes). Round by round, with every question asked, 12 contestants must wait for clues, then run to the buzzer 10 metres away. Challenges such as riddles, karaoke, puzzles, anagrams, who’s who? will be presented to the contestants. And every time, the same dilemma: Do I wait for further clues to make sure I’ve got the right answer, or do I sprint to the buzzer before the others? For the one who makes it to the final, a prize-money of up to €100,000 lies in wait. With Run & Buzz, you need to run fast but think even faster.
The game show was developed by NeweN and Big Nose. In France, it will be produced by Telfrance Games and Big Nose Games.
