Amsterdam, Netherlands – SDI Media has announced the relocation and upgrade of their owned and operated dubbing studios in the Netherlands. Scheduled for mid-2014, SDI will be moving their current dubbing services in Bussum to a brand new custom-designed dubbing studio in Amsterdam. The new 1,000m2 facility will provide clients with even higher levels of quality, capacity, and security. In addition, the facility will be central for both customers and talent.
Located near the A10 ring highway, easily accessible to the Amsterdam-Sloterdijk train station, the new SDI Media Amsterdam studio will be fully equipped with recording rooms for broadcast, theatrical, home entertainment and interactive products and include additional mixing solutions. The new studios will also add dedicated editing suites as well as audio mixing solutions for Access Services including audio description recording.
An emphasis on security has also been included in the new facility. IT will have structural and electronic measures built-in to ensure SDI Media’s highest standards of security. In addition to production and security upgrades, the new SDI Media Amsterdam will have dedicated space for client services and talent management including dining facilities, lounge, and communal areas for actors, directors and guests to converse.
