HELLO! JAPAN celebrates successful first year in Singapore

March 3, 2014 by TVA Editor

Singapore – HELLO! JAPAN, which bills itself as a one-stop channel for all things Japanese, is celebrating its first anniversary in Singapore.

Available on StarHub Cable Vision on channel 149, HELLO! JAPAN is the first private Japanese General Entertainment channel in Asia. The channel celebrated its first anniversary in Singapore in February, having achieved close to a million viewers in 2013, and establishing itself as one of the top 20 paid television channels in Singapore.

“Reaching our one-year anniversary in Singapore is a significant milestone for us here at HELLO! JAPAN. When we first made our content available here, we had a clear vision of what we wanted to offer, which was a wide-ranging variety of Japanese entertainment content to bring the nation’s culture, language, cuisine and hidden gems to Singaporeans,” said Mikio Mori, Chairman of J Food & Culture TV Pte. Ltd, owner of HELLO! JAPAN.
