SingTel mio TV has announced the hire of Anurag Dahiya as Director of Sports Content and Programming. Joining from ESPN STARSports, Dahiya will head the Sports content team and will be involved in the acquisition, programming and production of all sports content on the IPTV and the digital platforms which include mio TV Go and mio TV Play.

A 19-year veteran serving in various functions such as marketing, business development, programming and scheduling in Asia’s fast growing media markets, Dahiya specialises in sports media rights acquisitions and has been involved in the launch of various sports programmes and television and online sports channels. He is also highly-familiar with various aspects of content acquisition such as commercial modeling, broadcast and distribution operations cost and revenue evaluation, bidding, legal negotiations and related processes.
