London – Independent production and distribution company Endemol has acquired the international television distribution rights (outside of the USA) to CNN’s factual series Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown and Morgan Spurlock Inside Man. The deal was negotiated by Matt Creasey, Senior Vice President – Sales and Acquisitions, Americas, Asia, Australia and New Zealand; and Stacey Wolf, Vice President, CNN Business Affairs.

On CNN Domestic U.S., Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown ranked as the number one regularly scheduled series in cable news on the weekend in both season one and two. During the highly competitive season two (Sept-Nov), the program averaged 338,000 viewers in the coveted Adults 25-54 demo.
Hosted and produced by the Oscar®-nominated documentary filmmaker, Morgan Spurlock Inside Man has been produced for CNN by Warrior Poets. The series provides an intimate look into diverse sectors of American life and offers a deep-dive into pressing issues facing the U.S. that include migrant farm workers, the elder care industry, union workers, gun owners, education, bankruptcy and the drought. The premiere episode features Spurlock as a worker in a medical marijuana dispensary in California. Morgan Spurlock Inside Man is a (8 x 60’) series, and currently in production for a second season of (8 x 60’).
Domestically on CNN, season one of Morgan Spurlock Inside Man averaged 170,000 Adults 25-54 viewers and 397,000 People 2+. Inside Man ranks as the 2nd most time-shifted program on CNN among Adults 25-54 (behind Parts Unknown). The average increase from Live to Live+7 for Season 1 premieres increased 50% among People 25-54.
