Singapore – StarHub TV’s addition of two channels, Dragon TV (东方å«è§†)and now HaiRun( 海润å°) will cater to increasing demand for content from China.
Dragon TV’s news segments, which focus on current affairs around the world, garner five hours each day on the 24/7 channel. In addition, the Mandarin channel also provides top-rated dramas, talk-shows and reality shows. Dragon TV also created major brands with successful programmes like China’s Got Talent, Let’s Shake It, and Studio No.1.
Dragon TV – 百里挑一
Dragon TV’s key programming includes Dragon TV Primetime News, the channel’s primary news programme, One in a Hundred, a reality-TV dating programme, as well as Talk About It, a new talk show catering to the affluent.
Hong Kong’s leading pay-TV operator, nowTV and now HaiRun Media & Entertainment Group, China’s largest private television series production company, joined hands to launch now HaiRun. To ensure suitability for overseas audiences, selected dramas, which are produced by HaiRun Media & Entertainment Group, will be edited and packaged by nowTV. Key programmes on now Hairun include idol drama Shining Days and legend tale Everlasting Regret as well as historic series The 36th Chamber of Southern Shaolin.
