The annual Golden Globe Awards, held on January 12, 2014, in Beverley Hills, California, showcased a string of celebrities, with numerous awards presented on the night. The awards were handed out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
This year’s winners include: AMC’s Breaking Bad wins Best Television Series Drama; Robin Wright wins Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series– Drama for House of Cards; Brooklyn Nine-Nine wins Best Television Series– Comedy or Musical; Amy Poehler wins Best Actress in a Television Series– Comedy or Musical for Parks and Recreation; Andy Samberg wins Best Performance by an Actor– Comedy or Musical for Brooklyn Nine-Nine; HBO’s Behind the Candelabra wins Best Mini Series or Motion Picture Made for Television; Elizabeth Moss wins Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Top of the Lake; and Michael Douglas wins Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Behind the Candelabra.
Other award winners include Jaqueline Bisset, who won Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Dancing on the Edge; and Jon Voight, who won Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Ray Donovan.
