Singapore – Singapore’s Infinite Studios, through its sister company PT Kinema has announced​ a joint venture with Indonesia’s Screenplay Productions to produce a slate of Indonesian theatrical feature films. The Joint Venture is currently embarking on the production of its first movie slate, which will comprise of 6 movies with a total budget of US$4 million.
The partnership will benefit from Screenplay’s expertise in producing content for the local market and its experience in distribution, and Infinite Studios’ experience in co-producing international feature films as well as its production facilities in Singapore and Indonesia
Infinite’s productions to date include HBO Asia’s first original series Serangoon Road, also coâ€produced with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and HBO Asia’s first original movie Dead Mine. In addition, Infinite Studios has been a long-term collaborator with Eric Khoo on Gorylah Productions. More recently,Infinite Studios provided production services for the Jakarta shoot of the upcoming Michael Mann feature film.

Screenplay Productions, established in August 2010, is one of the top production houses in Indonesia. The recent success of its original TV dramaLove in Paris, the only Indonesian television series to be shot fully in Paris, France, has motivated the Group to venture into the regional market.
