Manila – Global sports broadcaster beIN SPORT has announced the inaugural launch of two sports channels on the Philippines’ biggest cable television provider, SkyCable, highlighted by a strong line-up of stellar football and sports content in high-definition.
Filipino football fans can enjoy the first-ever 24-hour channel covering the Barclays Premier League in the Philippines on beIN SPORT 3 Premier League HD, in addition to compelling and premium LIVE content in the Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga and the French Ligue 1 amongst other top football leagues and Cup tournaments on beIN SPORT 2 HD.
Besides top football content, Filipino fans can look forward to other sports including International Baseball Federation events such as the Spanish Basketball League (Liga Endesa), events from the Olympic Council of Asia, and FIFA World Cup Qualifiers featuring top South American and European teams.
beIN SPORT 3 Premier League HD is the first ever 24-hour BPL-dedicated channel in Indonesia that offers round-the-clock coverage with nearly 1,600 hours of LIVE BPL programming each season. This includes up to 40 hours of LIVE programming each week, the weekly magazine show Premier League World, and the best pre-match coverage and post-game analysis with former BPL players and seasoned football presenter John Dykes. The channel also features other weekly preview and review shows and highlights from every round of the BPL.
beIN SPORT 2 HD will also feature LIVE matches from the BPL, Serie A, Bundesliga and French Ligue 1, in addition to events from the Olympic Council of Asia including the 17th Asian Games INCHEON 2014, ATP 250 tennis events, International Baseball Federation events such as the Baseball World Cup, the Italian Volleyball League, top rugby events in the RBS Six Nations, the Spanish Basketball League (Liga Endesa) and much, much more.
beIN SPORT 1 HD will broadcast a stellar bouquet of LIVE football all year round. This includes LIVE coverage of the Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, Major League Soccer (MLS), Football League Championship, major cup tournaments such as the Capital One Cup, Coppa Italia and the Coupe de la Ligue, National team friendlies, FIFA World Cup Qualifiers featuring top South American and European teams, the Brazil World Tour and football club content from Liverpool TV, Spurs TV and the Milan Channel.

The launch of beIN SPORT in the Philippines extends the channel brand’s rapid expansion in Asia, following Indonesia’s successful kick-off in July, and lthe recent announcement to launch in Hong Kong on November 1, 2013.
A third channel, beIN SPORT 1 HD, will be launched in the coming months.
