Washington – The National Geographic Channel has announced the premiere date of Killing Kennedy as November 10, 2013 in the U.S., to be followed globally in 171 countries and 48 languages, timed to the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
To mark what would have been his and Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy’s 60th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2013, NGC has also released the first teaser for Killing Kennedy, which is based on the best-selling book by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard.
Killing Kennedy stars Rob Lowe (President Kennedy), Will Rothhaar (Lee Harvey Oswald),with Michelle Trachtenberg (Marina Oswald) and Ginnifer Goodwin (Jackie Kennedy).
Killing Kennedy is produced by Scott Free Productions and directed by Nelson McCormick (The West Wing, ER, Southland, The Good Wife, The Closer), with a teleplay by award-winning playwright and screenwriter Kelly Masterson (Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead). The cast also includes Jack Noseworthy (Robert F. Kennedy), Francis Guinan (Lyndon B. Johnson) and Richard Flood (Kenneth O’Donnell).
