The 2013 edition of BroadcastAsia and CommunicAsia, held at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore from 18 – 21 June, will carry a special emphasis on content.

By showcasing the current challenges as well as latest solutions, BroadcastAsia2013 will help industry players to stay relevant and successful in the changing landscape.
The 2013 conference will focus on the creation, management, distribution and monetisation of content, and the models and strategies that will help players in the broadcasting arena to enhance the value of their content to viewers. The Creative Content Production Conference, back for the fourth year, and runs from 19 – 20 June, will feature an esteemed list of TV and film industry veterans in their field of expertise:

Themed Producing and Distributing Successful Content in Asia, the two-day conference will address the challenge of producing appealing and high-quality content for global audiences through a series of new topics and speakers, including a Producers Dialogue that was developed to serve as an additional avenue for participants to address and anticipate the upcoming trends and demands of the industry.
DAY 1
Michael Lake, CEO of Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios, will kick-start What is Great Content and How to Distribute Them Effectively, with an opening keynote entitled Capitalising on the Opportunities of the Creative Industries and How Asia is Positioning Itself Globally. The topic will be debated by a panel with case study presentations. Lake believes the conference will help to educate and create a greater understanding of current and relevant issues, and explore ways to jointly grow and shape the future of the whole communications ecosystem.
DAY 2
Asia’s Top Programmers Dialogue is a must-attend event for avid programmers and producers.
The dialogue will spotlight the opportunities and hurdles faced by programmers, including new initiatives that these professionals are deliberating for 2014 will be discussed by a power panel consisting of:
• Michele Schofield, Senior Vice President – Programming and Marketing at AETN All Asia Networks;
• Choy Lin Mok, VP Programming of Channel NewsAsia (Mediacorp);
• Eddy Tan, Vice President Programming of Fox International Channels;
• David Gunson, VP of Channels, South East Asia, Universal Networks International;
• Charmaine Kwan, Vice President of Programming, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific.
The panel will be moderated by Patrick Schult, CEO of Media Stable (former CEO, FremantleMedia Asia).

BroadcastAsia2013 will showcase a wide international line-up of exhibitors. The Cinematography/Film/Production Zone is slated to expand as Asia’s film industry embarks on a promising growth spurt.
