Singapore – BTS broadcast technology solutions is opening a subsidiary in Singapore, BTS Asia Ltd., with a second office in Bangkok, Thailand to give better support to clients in Asia. BTS Asia will act as sales office for the whole product portfolio of the German company. It will also offer system design and customer support in cooperation with experienced local specialists. BTS delivers state-of-the art solutions for studios and outdoor broadcast with most based on developed in Weiterstadt, Germany.

Ewald Fehlauer, MD of BTS broadcast technology solutions said, “We see a huge potential in the Southeast Asian market with high quality solutions both for studios and OB vans. By establishing our own subsidiary in Singapore we can approach this market much more effective than from Germany. We were able to hire some very experienced staff in engineering to guarantee the best possible support for our customers. With the well established sales team we are expecting major growth in the region”.

Previously, BTS announced that they will be constructing an OB van for the SEA Games in Myanmar in December with Grass Valley Asia slated to be completed this August.
