Rob Norman, Chief Digital Officer of GroupM Worldwide, and Jon Miller, co-founder, Fuel Media Capital, have been appointed Non-Executive Directors of BBC Global News Ltd, which owns and operates the BBC’s commercially funded global 24-hour news channel BBC World News and bbc.com/news.
Norman and Miller will join the Board of Directors for BBC Global News Ltd., which includes the Director of Global News, Peter Horrocks, and Chief Executive Officer, Jim Egan.
Norman is Chief Digital Officer of GroupM Worldwide, the world’s largest media investment management company and a division of WPP. As Chief Digital Officer, he is responsible for the group’s overall digital strategy and development and leads a community of digital practitioners in Maxus, MEC, Mediacom and Mindshare.
Miller is the co-founder of Fuel Media Capital. He previously served as Chief Digital Officer, and Chairman and CEO, Digital Media Group for News Corporation, a role in which he drove the Company’s overall digital strategy in conjunction with various operational heads, while also directly overseeing all of News Corp.’s standalone digital businesses.
