USA – CNN Worldwide, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., will be premiering its first weekend lifestyle TV series hosted by globally-acclaimed Anthony Bourdain on Sunday, April 14, at 9pm EST. Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown is a one-hour long series which follows Bourdain as he travels across the globe, celebrates diverse cultures and meets with local citizens.
The series is produced by Zero Point Zero Production with Executive Producers and Founders Chris Collins and Lydia Tenaglia, as well as Sandra Zweig executive producing. The production house has produced numerous others of Bourdain’s programmes in which he hosted, including Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, and The Layover.
The premiere episode will feature Bourdain as he travels to Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). Future episodes will include tours of Libya, Colombia, the Quebecois side of Canada, Koreatown in Los Angeles, Tangier, Peru and the Congo.
