Burbank, California – Walt Disney Records has announced that the Sofia the First soundtrack is now available for pre-order on Amazon, and will be fully available on February 12. The soundtrack features 11 songs from the hit Disney Junior animated television series with the same name, which premiered in January this year for the female market both young and old.

The soundtrack also includes bonus tracks from the animated television movie Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess. Modern Family’s Ariel Winter brings the newest princess to life in each song. Other songs of the album include those by Wayne Brady (Clover), Sabrina Carpenter (Vivian) and Darcy Rose Byrnes (Amber).

Created for kids 2-7 and their parents/caregivers, Sofia the First tells the story of Princess Sofia, an adventurous little girl who is learning how to adjust to royal life after her mom marries the king and she becomes a princess overnight. Along the way, Sofia discovers that looking like a princess isn’t all that difficult, but possessing the characteristics of a true princess – honesty, loyalty, courage, independence, compassion and grace – is what makes one truly royal.
