Oliver Herrgesell appointed SVP of communications at Turner Broadcasting International
Oliver Herrgesell has joined Turner Broadcasting System International as Senior Vice President of Communications, where he will serve as Turner Broadcasting’s chief communications and public relations executive in markets outside the U.S. He is in charge of developing communications strategy and overseeing execution of messaging related to Turner’s international business portfolio and industry position. In addition, he will work closely with President of Turner International, Gerhard Zeiler, and communications colleagues in U.S. to integrate and align on programming and other initiatives that cross the Turner Broadcasting portfolio.
“This position and Oliver’s professional stature reflect the importance of our international business interests,” said Jeff Matteson, Senior Vice President of Communications of Turner Broadcasting system – to whom Herrgesell will report.
