BBC Worldwide’s Sales & Distribution business unit in Asia has licensed a package of over 80 hours of music programming to CCTV-15.
The package includes Doctor Who at the Proms and various other BBC Proms titles, plus the Brit Awards 2012 (1 x 90’), Take That: Progress Live (1 x 75’), and the Royal Variety Performance2010 (1 x 120’).
CCTV-15 is the music channel of Chinese state broadcaster CCTV. Launched in 2004, it broadcasts a broad range of genres from classical and traditional Chinese music to contemporary pop.
