London/ Hong Kong – Endemol has signed new deals in Asia for talent competition programme, Your Face Sounds Familiar, which features celebrities performing as iconic musicians.

Vietnamese broadcaster VTV3 is now the second channel in Asia to order a primetime series of Your Face Sounds Familiar from Endemol. The broadcaster has commissioned 10 episodes, to be produced locally by Song Vang Production and Advertising Ltd. and to premiere in 2013.

“It’s a hugely entertaining and funny concept that has already proven to be popular in China, and we’re confident that we can repeat that success in Vietnam and across the region,” said Arjen van Mierlo, CEO of Endemol Asia.

The format is among Endemol’s highlights at the ATF in Singapore (booth B18). Joining the format slate at ATF are game shows The Bodyguard and The Money Drop.
