Miami – Maid in Manhattan, the telenovela produced by Telemundo in association with Sony Pictures Television, and distributed by Telemundo Internacional, makes its debut in Indonesia on Televiva today.

With this premiere, Telemundo Internacional now has three productions on air in Indonesia – the other two being Doña Barbara and La Casa de al Lado.

Maid in Manhattan, starring Litzy and Eugenio Siller, alongside Vanessa Villela and Doña Barbara actor Paulo Quevedo, has been commercialised in more than 45 countries, including Lithuania, Spain and Afghanistan, and made its most recent premiere in Israel, last week.

The adaptation by Luis Zelkowicz, inspired by the motion picture with the same title, is the modern Cinderella tale of Marisa Lujan, a young Mexican woman who immigrated to the U.S. with her 10-year-old son. In Manhattan, she finds a job as a maid in one of the most luxurious hotels and meets Cristobal Parker, a successful businessman who mistakes her for a hotel guest.

Maid in Manhattan is part of Telemundo Internacional’s catalogue.
